One of my co-workers installed Adblock Plus the other day and the logo disappeared off of her affiliate project site. We traced it down to a rule in ABP that blocks images with 'affiliate' in them.
You should change your affiliate logo filename (affiliate_logo.png) to something w/o affiliate in it and update it accordingly in affiliate.shtml on your affiliate sites.
Something should also probably be done when the new design affiliate design templates are released to fix any stragglers.

Hrm ... are there other common English words that Adblock Plus is blocking? I think we should be able to use common English words, and this problem should be submitted to the Adblock Plus project instead. It seems really brute-force to me to block anything with a common-English string in it without checking for other things in the URL that might narrow the focus.
Without more information, it seems a stretch to concede that Adblock Plus "owns" the word "affiliate." _________________ ____
