The UNL Smart Site Initiative is an effort to examine key touchpoints and processes on the UNL website, with the goal of optimizing those touchpoints and user experiences for the benefit of our constituent audiences.

Smart Site begins by acknowledging the successful work in this area by the Office of Admissions, which has seen measurable benefit in terms of ever-larger incoming freshman classes since they began applying relationship management techniques and philosophies to their target audience of prospective students.

The Smart Site Initiative is an effort to apply knowledge of what has worked for UNL Admissions -- and knowledge from other realms of user interaction and experience -- first to the current student audience at UNL, and from there to all of our major constituencies.
