Monica Myers, a recent addition to the Pubs and Photography team, is responsible for embedding meta data for photos into digital files. She is also organizing UNL's vast digital photo archives into a searchable database.

Prior to arriving at UNL, she worked for the Wedding Information Network, which produced a wedding planning guide, and as a graphic artist for Pickering Bow. She received a bachelor's degree in Commercial Art from Union College in 1992.

Outside of the office, Monica spends time scrapbooking, gardening and playing with her kids, Brody, 12, Madalyn, 9, and her husband of 15 years, Matt. Recently they started fishing as a family…Monica enjoys fishing as long as she doesn't have to actually touch a fish. Now, she's just waiting to catch the big one!
