Clint Chapman has been creating print and Web publications for just over a year for university communications. Clint received an associate’s degree in Graphic Design from Southeast Community College and started his career at UNL shortly after. He has worked in four different units at UNL, on both Lincoln campuses and over the years he has attended many UNL classes focusing on graphic design and general studies.
Clint's previous job was Art Director/Web Master for all three SCC campuses in Nebraska. Prior to that, he was employed at NETV as an Interactive Media Specialist, where he started creating websites in 1996. There, he honed his skills as an interface designer, coder and flash animator. By the late 1990s, web designers were in great demand and so he co-founded a successful freelance design company that is still moonlighting today.
Clint likes the variety of design challenges at UNL, and continues craft and art skills in his personal life in the form of custom car building. You can often find him in his garage with welders, grinders and torque wrenches. Clint has a car crazy 2-year-old son and a wife that ignores the small fleet of cars and 4x4s in the garage. He also enjoys the great outdoors and looks forward to sharing future outdoor escapes with his family.
