Andrea joined the Publications and Photography team in June 2006. She graduated from UNL in 2000 with a degree in Advertising, taught by none other than UComm’s own Meg Lauerman. Besides causing trouble, she creates publications for clients including College of Business Administration, the Chancellor’s Office, and the International Quilt Studies Center.
According to her colleagues, Andrea is a fire starter and put-er-out-er. Long stretches of computer time are occasionally interrupted by wild bursts of energy marked by torturing of co-workers with loud, off-key singing.
Andrea has agency and in-house design experience. She has an obsession with paper, including but not limited to the smell of new paper. When she tears herself away from my desk, she enjoys playing and watching sports, drinking beer, and sleeping. Her new family includes her husband, Robb, and two large and extremely active dogs, Diesel and Sadie. Their new-old home needs work, so grab a hammer...she’ll meet you in the backyard.
