With the University Communications office since 1989, Diane works as editorial assistant for The Scarlet and edits the weekly E-News that is sent to faculty and staff. She also coordinates the UNL web calendar. Diane graduated from UNL in 1981 as a Textiles, Clothing and Design major.

In her spare time, Diane works as a portrait artist primarily in graphite, colored pencil and pastel. She has had art published in Jane magazine and the San Francisco Chronicle, and recently sold some art to Comedy Central for a pilot. She has had her work exhibited in several venues. Diane has two sons (one a freshman at UNL) and has been married to Agris for 21 years.
