Annette Wetzel has been “creating experiences” for more than 20 years as an event planner, public relations and marketing professional. She is the director of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Van Brunt Visitors Center and Special Events in the Office of the Chancellor.

Prior to her work in the educational field, Wetzel worked in the fine paper and printing industry planning trade shows, seminars, and special events. She holds both a bachelor's and master's degree in journalism from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Annette loves to garden, attend art shows, and is a dog lover.
