Bob Crisler came to UNL in 1992 as print designer. He has led the university’s central web effort since 2000. He started UNL’s Web Developer Network in 2003, which currently has more than 250 members. He is also enrolled as a graduate student in journalism. In a former life, Bob contributed to Seattle's Zero Hour, the City Pages and Buzz Magazine in Minneapolis, and San Francisco's Puncture magazine, and ran a short-lived Lincoln fanzine called Broadside.
Bob lives in Ashland with his wife and kids. He is president of the Ashland City Council. His two kids, 8 and 10, are better than any other kids in existence. His house is 119 years old; he works on it a lot.
