A university employee since 1972, Vi is a wealth of institutional knowledge. Even though her bachelor’s degree in English isn’t from UNL, her license to make up words is still valid. She’s been through seven chancellors (and seven interim chancellors), all of whom attempted to brand the university.

In addition to Publications, she's managed interesting campus services, including Printing, Parking, and the University Bookstore, before returning to Publications in 1999, so she has an intimate understanding of communication and customer service.

She currently focuses on design and logo compliance issues and the N Shop. Stop by the Wick Center to view and buy N promotional merchandise. Vi and her husband Peter have two young adult children with whom they enjoy traveling. Remember to say “Shray-der” not “Schro-der” and she’ll know you’re a friend.
