As Chief Communications Officer for the Nebraska Alumni Association, Andrea Cranford edits Nebraska Magazine, the Alumni Resource Guide, Palladian Digest and the eNUz, and oversees the association’s media relations and production of all its printed materials. A 1971 graduate of the UNL College of Journalism and Mass Communications, Andrea is a past president and board member of the Nebraska Press Women.

She is married to Dana, class of 1973, and they have two sons—Matt, class of 2000, and Pat; a daughter-in-law, Elaine, class of 2003; and a cat, Gina. (She also spends a fair amount of time babysitting her sons’ dogs—Boone and Linford.) A third-generation UNL grad and 36-year veteran of the alumni and university communications staffs, Andrea also is known (somewhat reluctantly) as alumni staff historian.
